Join Goshen Recreation on a Day Trip to museums, parks, galleries, and other points of interest in Connecticut offered each month. These trips will include the price of admission to the venue, lunch will be at the participants expense, unless otherwise noted. Entertainment during the bus ride, provided by the Director, is free of charge! As most venues require prepaid ticket purchases, payment must be made in advance, online or in person with Erin. May 16: CT Trolley Museum - In East Windsor, this museum is the nation's oldest incorporated organization dedicated to the preservation of the trolley era. We will tour the visitor center and hop on a trolley for a 3.2 mile round trip adventure on the Rockville Branch of the Hartford & Springfield Street Railway Company. We will also visit the Fire Truck Museum and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Maintenance a& Restoration Shop. We will have lunch at J&G Restaurant on the way home at your own expense. Meet at the parking lot at 5 Old Middle Street at 9:45am!
June 13 - We are heading to Butler-McCook House in Hartford. We will be guided through the house and get a brief overview of the gardens, then tour on our own. Meet the bus at 9:30am in the parking lot of 5 Old Middle Street. Cost for this trip is $10. We will have lunch on the way home at your own expense.
